[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This course will cover content generally taught in one semester of reproductive health / maternal child nursing at the undergraduate level and prepares you to take the Excelsior College Reproductive Health exam.

This course explores the provision of nursing care for mothers, children, and families in a variety of settings that range from the traditional hospital inpatient environment to outpatient, community-based, and home locales.

The myriad options for holistic, evidence-based practice in maternal and child nursing are presented within a framework that is based on a philosophy of physiologic and developmental normalcy that stresses safety and the optimization of outcomes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
