A major focus of this course is the use of the nursing process to provide and manage patient-centered care for people throughout the lifespan. Therapeutic communication, stress and adaptation, and patient teaching will also be covered. Documenting and reporting nursing care and the use of informatics in health care are also presented. Attention is drawn to safe and effective care with regards to environmental safety needs, emergency preparedness, and infection control. Pharmacology and medication administration are also discussed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
